the last few days i've really wanted to kiss somebody. i have nobody to kiss.

my parents had a theme song. they used to listen to it all the time, until about the time of the second divorce attempt. since then i haven't heard it or even seen the cd around the house. the other day i was rooting through the family cd collection looking for good music to import ontp the computer and found mom's mary mccaslin cd, with 'the bramble and the rose' on it. my parents' theme song. so i import the cd and discover that 'the bramble and the rose' is 3:18 long. 3/18 is the day stephanie rogan cut her hair. 3/18 is the day i really fell for her. hard.
